Smart Audio Converter has average file compatibility, with 17 different formats supported for conversion. It also has one of the larger number of output files in this review. The company that produces it, SmartSoft, even has a phone line for tech support; only one other company has that.
But after that, Smart Audio Converter is a bit of a disappointment. The interface is a little unwieldy, and there are very few of the features common in other audio converters: no video or CD extracting, no audio tags, no command line functionality, etc. Add to that the fact that we had serious problems trying to convert WAV and WMA files at all. In the end, Smart Audio Converter lands near the bottom of the pile because it just doesn’t offer much and has more problems than you’ll want.Smart Audio Converter Standard Screenshots
