Tunebite Premium Reviewer's Comments
TuneBite Premium is a flashy program that does a good job of converting music but isn’t really as good as it first appears. MP3 downloads and other music files are easy to convert, making TuneBite very useful.
But TuneBite has some weaknesses that weigh it down. First of all, the interface looks good, but there are so many buttons that aren’t well labeled. It makes it look complicated when it really isn’t. But the biggest problem is that TuneBite Premium doesn’t convert music files, it records them. That’s not necessarily a problem, except that it takes much longer than conversion. Depending on the file type, especially if it is protected music, TuneBite has to record the song in real-time. That means that it could take hours upon hours to convert your entire library.
TuneBite is also lacking in the features that other audio converters have. It can’t extract audio from video or CDs, and control over bit rate, sampling rate and channels is extremely limited. But TuneBite does have some useful capabilities for syncing with MP3 players and iPods.
Overall, Tunebite is useful, but its interface and lack of features can be frustrating.
